City to host two Easter Egg Hunts

The City of North Port is offering two Easter egg hunt programs for families this coming weekend. 

Organized by the City’s Parks & Recreation Division, a division of the General Services Department, the events will take place at the City Center Front Green, 4970 City Hall Boulevard.

  • The Flashlight Egg Hunt is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14. Youth ages 6 to 11 are invited to bring a basket and a flashlight to hunt for 5,000 glow-in-the-dark eggs.
  • The “Egg”normous Egg Hunt is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 16. Youth ages 3 to 11 are invited to bring a basket to hunt for 15,000 eggs divided by age groups.

Find an egg with a special ticket and redeem on-site for an extra special Easter Basket. Both of these events are free to attend.
