Highland Ridge Park, located at 6225 Kenwood Drive, is an 8 acre neighborhood park. General Development Corporation sold the land to the City of North Port with the deed executed in December of 1987.

The park features a large green space with Live Oak, Slash Pine, Sabal Palm, East Palatka Holly, Bottle Brush and Carrot Wood trees included in the landscape, along with Wax Myrtle and Palmetto. There is also a playground, tennis court, 2 racquetball courts, 6 pickleball courts, 2 basketball courts, 3 shuffleboard courts, picnic tables and a grill. The pavilion at this park is available for rental through the Parks and Recreation Division.

To get to the park from City Hall, take Sumter Blvd. to 41, turn right on 41 towards North Port Boulevard. At North Port Boulevard, turn left and follow to Kenwood Drive.
