Oaks Park, located at 5430 Mandrake Terrace, is a 17-acre neighborhood park that is situated within the Myakkahatchee Creek Greenway in the City of North Port. General Development originally owned the land which was sold to the North Port Water Control District in August of 1994. That same year, the North Port Water Control District was dissolved and the City of North Port Road & Drainage District assumed all maintenance and operations.

The passive park is a great place to explore nature and local wildlife by foot under the shade of Heritage Live Oaks, Willow, Sand Live Oak, and Sabal Palms. An intricate trail system extends from the park and is known to have amazing trails for mountain biking. Several seating areas are available at this park including picnic tables and swing benches.

In 2014, Oaks Park was the starting point for the Great American Clean Up event which took place along the Myakkahatchee Creek Greenway.
