Parks and Recreation is a division within the Department of General Services and is committed to improving the quality of life in our community by promoting healthy lifestyles, maintaining community assets, being good stewards of our parks and open spaces and fostering a sense of community pride and common purpose. Mission Statement

To create and promote recreational opportunities in a safe and clean environment, and to preserve and enhance North Port’s parks and natural areas to enrich the lives of citizens and visitors.
