The North Port Police Department’s Administrative Division consists of five people. The Department is headed by Chief Terry Lewis.
The Administrative Division includes two major divisions, the Operations Division and the Support Services Division:
- Captain Robert Estrada, Operations Division Commander, oversees the Road Patrol, Animal Control and Auxiliary. Captain Estrada also represents the Department on the Domestic Security Task Force.
- Captain Kevin Vespia, Support Services Commander, oversees the Telecommunications Section, Records Section, Accreditation and the Professional Resource Bureau, which consists of Criminal Investigations, Internal Affairs, Property/Evidence and School Resource Officers.
Jennifer Ayres is the Department's Business Manager and is responsible for the Department's business operations.
Accreditation Coordinator Tammie Jacobs is responsible for maintaining documentation for the Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation. She also performs technical, clerical and record-keeping duties.
