holiday tree icon The City of North Port offers a variety of programs for the winter holidays, including:

Mayors' Feed the Hungry Food Drive from Nov. 6 through Nov. 16. Drop off nonperishable food at City Hall, 4970 City Hall Blvd.

12 Days of Giving Food and Toy Drive from Nov. 26 through Dec. 8. Drop off nonperishable food and unwrapped toys at various City facilities and during the Poinsettia Festival.

Home for the Holidays Program is designed to provide income eligible North Port families and local seniors a holiday experience.

Poinsettia Festival, presented by Achieva Credit Union, on Dec. 8 at City Center, 4970 City Hall Blvd.

Poinsettia Parade on Dec. 8 along Sumter Boulevard.

Gingerbread House Workshop on Dec. 2. Build a gingerbread house of your own and submit to a people's choice award at the Poinsettia Festival.
