Parks & Recreation planning Poinsettia Festival and Poinsettia Parade on Dec. 8
The City of North Port is gearing up to host its signature holiday events on December 8, 2018.
The annual Poinsettia Festival, presented by Achieva Credit Union, will take place from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the grounds of City Center, including City Center Front Green and City Hall. This fun-filled holiday festival will include food vendors, entertainment, school choruses, attractions, exhibitors and shopping vendors, and so much more. The annual Poinsettia Parade, presented by Quality TV, will begin at 5 p.m. and travel south on Sumter Boulevard from Sylvania Avenue. The parade will turn into City Center on City Center Boulevard and end at the Poinsettia Festival. The parade features more than 50 units, including floats from various businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies. The City is seeking parade units and sponsors.
