TEMPORARY INTERRUPTION IN WATER SERVICE PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE
DEMING AVE., NORTH PORT • SEPTEMBER 17, 2019
A temporary interruption in water service will occur on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 beginning at 9:00 A.M. and ending at 1:00 P.M. Due to the nature of this construction, the water turn on time could vary and it is very likely that crews will have the water on before 1:00 P.M. The Utilities Department will be completing the water main replacement for a portion of Deming Ave.
After water service is resumed a boil water advisory will be in effect as a precaution. Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for consumption (for example, drinking and cooking water, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes) should be brought to a rolling boil for one minute. As an alternative, bottled water may be used. Affected residents will need to continue boiling water for consumption until they receive a “Rescission of the Boil Water Notice” doorknocker when the advisory has been lifted.
North Port Utilities is committed to providing the best service possible and will make every effort to minimize the duration of this water outage.
If you have any questions concerning our planned activities, please call the Utilities Department at 240-8000.
