Updated ways to provide public comment

Our City Commission is working hard to keep our City running, and a top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic is to help maintain the health of our employees and residents. Another top priority is being able to maintain public participation in our City meetings. Following CDC guidelines, we are not allowing public access into the Commission Chambers and practicing social distancing with the City Commissioners and staff. Though there are restrictions when it comes to public gatherings, we are dedicated to making sure those who would like to make their voice heard are able to.

We have created an online public comment form at Please note the form will only be live beginning one hour before the start of the meeting and closing at the end of the public comment portion. Your public comment will then be read aloud during the meeting. An alternate option is to come to City Hall in person to the City Clerk’s Office (second floor) and submit your public comment in person during the same time frame. Your comment will be written down and again, read aloud during the meeting. We strongly encourage using the online form to help protect the health of our employees and the public. This is a fluid situation. As the procedure changes, we will be updating.
