Roadwatch Report for the week of May 25 – May 29
Motorists are reminded to wear safety belts and drive with caution, courtesy, common sense, and patience as they travel through work zones. Remember, speeding fines are doubled in work zones.
Sidewalk Closure - Toledo Blade:
Spectrum Underground, the contractor performing the Bobcat Trail Force main replacement for the City of North Port, is planning on replacing the sidewalks along Toledo Blade between Bobcat Trail West and Courage Way starting on Monday the 18th.
Work should take about a week to finish. The sidewalk will be closed to pedestrians during this time. Pedestrians will be able to get around the construction site by utilizing Bobcat Village Center Rd.

Road construction scheduled for the week of May 25 – May 29, 2020:
There will be no milling or paving in the City this upcoming week. However, restoration crews may be planting sod adjacent to newly paved roadways and cleaning up construction debris throughout the City, especially in areas where milling and paving was recently completed. Roadway shoulders may be graded and any additional low spots will be filled along the edge of the pavement.
