Madison Heid joined the City of North Port in May 2017. She assists various departments with outreach efforts, communications, and media requests. She also acts as back-up Public Information Officer to Josh Taylor. Prior to working for the City, Madison worked for the North Port Sun as a reporter, later being promoted to Editor of a weekly publication. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and a Music Minor.
