North Port, a thriving young community founded in 1959, has the workforce, amenities and assets that make it attractive for headquarters, manufacturing, technology, distribution, financial services, cleantech, emerging technology and entrepreneurial endeavors.
North Port has prime development sites, ample utilities and excellent interstate access via Interstate-75. Its community amenities include quality public schools, state-of-the-art aquatics center, Atlanta Braves Spring Training, outstanding parks and recreation facilities, beautiful golf courses, and a performing arts center. All of these assets are complemented by tree-lined streets, sidewalks and canals that meander through the City’s neighborhoods.

Air travel is accessible from three international and three municipal airport facilities located within 45 to 90 minutes of the City. Local seaports (Port Manatee and Port of Tampa) and rail service connect products and materials to customers nationally and globally
