Achieve Anything Membership
The North Port Parks & Recreation Department offers the “Achieve Anything” membership to promote a healthy lifestyle as well as enhance body and mind. Whether it’s visiting the fitness center at either facility or participating in select activities, a membership is full of opportunities at an easy to afford rate. Blueways
With connectivity to over six miles of water-based recreation at Blue Ridge, McKibben, Dallas White, and Butler parks, North Port is a paddlers dream. You'll find plenty of great opportunities to dip your paddles into the cool waters of our Blueways. Canoe/Kayak launches are provided at each park site with portage facilities around three water control structures which are accessible by water only.
Fitness Centers
Fitness facilities are available at both the Morgan Family Community Center and the George Mullen Activity Center. Stop in and you'll find friendly and knowledgeable staff who will help you meet your fitness goals,in addition to reasonable daily drop-in rates that will accommodate your individual schedule. Parks
With 26 parks and facilities, there's plenty of outdoor recreation to be found throughout the City of North Port. Try camping or hiking in nature at the equestrian-friendly Mayakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park. Launch a canoe or kayak at one of the five parks along the Blueway (the city’s aquatic trail system). Take the kids to cool off at the Atwater Park Splash Pad; or start a pick-up game at Butler Park. You'll find it isn't just a walk in the park. It's your community.

Teen Center
Featuring a teen lounge and game room, the Morgan Family Community Center is a safe and welcoming place for all young adults. Not only are free Achieve Anything memberships offered to D-FY members, but staff also host a quarterly Teen Talk, giving young people a chance to provide suggestions and ideas for what they'd like to see at the Center and from City events and programs.
