In honor of National Go Skateboarding Day, skateboarding and BMX enthusiasts throughout North Port are invited to participate or watch Park & Recreation’s annual Bike and Skate Competition at the Skate Park (5651 North Port Boulevard) on June 21, 2019.

Registration starts at 1 p.m.; with the competition scheduled for 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. All attendees are welcome to stay for the post-competition celebration from 5:00-6:00 p.m.  There will be three categories, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each category.

Admission for all spectators is free,  but competitors will need to pay a registration fee of $10 the day of the event. Please bring cash for your registration fee, as credit or check won’t be accepted. Parking for the event will be available at Dallas White Park (5900 Greenwood Avenue).
