About the Program
The City of North Port offers a Help-to-Others (H2O) Program designed to assist families who are experiencing a short-term financial crisis to pay their North Port Utilities bill. The program is funded 100 percent by community donations and is administered through the City's Social Services Division.
How to Donate
Organizations, businesses, and individuals are encouraged to donate to assist local families.
Donations for the City’s H2O Program can be made on the North Port Utilities bill, both for commercial and residential customers.
Donations can also be provided as a check, written to the City of North Port. Write the words “H2O program” in the memo section of the check. Checks can be mailed or dropped off to the North Port Utilities’ Cashiering Office at City Hall, 4970 City Hall Boulevard, North Port, FL 34286 or at the Social Services Division’s offices at the Family Service Center, 6919 Outreach Way, North Port, FL 34287.
How to Apply
The funding for the H2O program is only available to North Port residents. Applications for funding is reliant on there being enough donations.
