The City of North Port uses the Onvia DemandStar system to distribute automatic solicitation notices to all interested businesses.

The City of North Port uses DemandStar for the maintenance of an automated vendor list. The list categorizes each vendor by commodity codes for the specific goods or services which they have selected. Businesses who have subscribed to the vendor list are notified by fax or e-mail whenever a Request for Bid (RFB), Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), or Request for Quote has been issued for the commodity offered by the vendor.

Bid documents may be obtained by contacting the City of North Port Purchasing Department.
