Offered three times a year, North Port Newcomer Day is an expo-like event that features information tables run by more than 40 community organizations, government agencies, and local businesses.

Save the Dates

Upcoming dates for North Port Newcomer Day are as follows:
  • 10 a.m. to noon on May 2, 2020 at the Morgan Family Community Center
    • While there, stop by the Hurricane Expo to learn how you can prepare for the upcoming hurricane season. The National Weather Service, Local Emergency Management, and Disaster Organizations will be present to answer questions. The Hurricane Expo will run from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
  • 10 a.m. to noon on November 7, 2020  at the George Mullen Activity Center

If you know of someone who is new to the City or anyone who might be interested in coming to find out more about North Port, please invite them to come.

Interested in Participating?

If you are a nonprofit or government agency, reserve space at the next North Port Newcomer Day! There is no cost to participate.

To register, download a registration form and return it to the Parks and Recreation Department at the Morgan Family Community Center, 6207 West Price Boulevard. You can drop it off or scan and email it to Samantha Cremen at SCremen@cityofnorthport.com or call 941-429-PARK for more information.

No electricity will be provided during North Port Newcomer Day. No banners will be permitted to hang on the walls. You are welcome to set up your table anytime the day of the event from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. The Newcomer Day event is from 10 a.m. to noon.
